All Occasion Cards-Hand MadeArtistic EndeavorsIn this class, participants will create 25 all occasion cards (five cards of five different design/themes – some could be birthday, thank you, sympathy, masculine, blank or more). All materials will be cut, packaged and ready students to stamp and assemble. Materials, envelopes, stamps, inks and any tools needed to create cards will be provided. American Red Cross - Lifeguard Instructor Training - Blended LearningBloomington Swim Lessons - Valley View Middle School* Blended Learning Class: a link will be emailed one week prior to class beginning with online class curriculum, email address required. The online portion of this class MUST be completed prior to the first night of class. This course trains instructor candidates to teach the American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer courses. Age Prerequisite: Students must be 17 years old by the last day of the class. Certification Prerequisite: Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification. Skill Prerequisites: Successful completion of Life-guarding swimming prerequisites, demonstration ofcompetency with Life-guarding skills, and demonstration of competency when responding to scenarios involving rescues and emergency care. Students must complete the online portion of the course (2-3 hours in length) before participating in the water skills sessions. Once registered information for accessing the online portion of the course will be emailed to the student, approximately seven days before the class begins. Birch Tree Acrylic PourArtistic EndeavorsAcrylic Pours are a popular and easy way of painting that involves making the paints more fluid so that they can be poured directly onto the canvas without the use of brushes. In this class we will learn how to mix our paints to create a directed pour image. This is a method in which the way the paint is applied it will create a beautiful fall scene of colorful birch trees. Each participant will receive an 8 x 10 inch canvas and all the supplies needed to create their own masterpiece.
