Alcohol inks are a fluid art medium that create dynamic results. In this class you will learn how to work with and take advantage of their unique qualities as we create a stylized Poinsettia flower on yupo paper.

In this class, participants will create 25 all occasion cards (five cards of five different design/themes – some could be birthday, thank you, sympathy, masculine, blank or more). All materials will be cut, packaged and ready students to stamp and assemble. Materials, envelopes, stamps, inks and any tools needed to create cards will be provided. Students WILL NEED to bring their own adhesive such as double stick tape, glue stick or tape runner – all of which can be found at any craft store or can be purchased the night of class from the instructor.

Whether you are an absolute beginner or someone who learned to crochet once-upon-a-time and has forgotten how, this class is for you! We start at the beginning, looking at tools and materials, learn to make chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet and treble crochet stitches, learn about reading patterns and charts. Acrylic Pours are a popular and easy way of painting that involves making the paints more fluid so that they can be poured directly onto the canvas without the use of brushes. In this class we will learn how to mix our paints to create a directed pour image. This is a method in which the way the paint is applied it will create a beautiful fall scene of colorful birch trees. Each participant will receive an 8 x 10 inch canvas and all the supplies needed to create their own masterpiece. Please bring a box to take your work home in.

Using glass beads, create a beaded spider in the color of your choice, between blue, red, green, gold, or purple. A $25 supply fee is due to instructor at the beginning of class. Instructor is providing all supplies.
