26-27 ELWB PreschoolPRESCHOOL REGISTRATION CHECKLIST 2026-2027 For more information email earlylearning@isd271.org or call 952-806-8903 ❏ Preschool Class Registration bloomington.arux.app/ (Directions in English, Spanish, Somali) Please choose the age of how old your child will be on September 1st, 2026 ❏ Online Enrollment CLICK HERE to enroll into bloomington Public Schools (click enroll now) Families only need to complete this process once, unless your family has moved to a new address. If you have already done this, you do not need to repeat this step. ❏ Early Childhood Screening CLICK HERE to schedule your appointment. Children are screened one time after they turn three years old. You do not need to complete this step again. If your child has been screened at another location, please contact us by phone or email and provide the name of the program and the city where the screening took place. For questions or need help scheduling your screening appointment call 952-681-6203 or email ecscreening@isd271.org If your child turns 3 over the summer you can still register now. Please don't forget to schedule a screening before school starts ❏ Special Education Evaluation Only if you have concerns about your child's development, please call our Special Education Supervisor at 952-806-8959 or visit https://helpmegrowmn.org/HMG/Refer/index.html We also ask for: ❏ Birth Certificate ❏ Immunizations Record ❏ Proof of Income (if applying for Level 1 or Level 2 or Level 3) - 2025 1040 Tax Form - A month of pay stubs *Please note that all families will be charged the full tuition rate until proof of income is submitted regardless of the level you chose during the registration process. Camp/Summit SAFARICamp SAFARI is a full day school-age child care program for youth entering kindergarten through 4th grade. The philosophy of Camp SAFARI is to lead children to discover friendship, independence and confidence through art, music, sports, drama and recreational activities. The staff and program facilitates a warm and secure environment for channeling children's energy and meeting their individual needs. Camp SAFARI is located in the following buildings this year: Ridgeview Elementary and Valley View Elementary. A breakfast snack and afternoon snack and many fun activities including field trips are part of your tuition. Lunch will be available at Valley View Elementary as that site qualifies for the Summer Feed Program through the state. Students attending Ridgeview Elementary will need to bring a bag lunch with a beverage. Summit SAFARI is for students entering 5th and 6th grades offering new and fresh opportunities that are geared for this age. We will have leadership opportunities, community service and so much more. This program will be held at Valley View Middle School. A breakfast snack, lunch and afternoon snack and many fun activities including field trips are part of your registration fee.Child Care Program -
Early Camp SAFARIEarly Camp SAFARI is a summer experience for children completing the 2025/26 school year in a BPS preschool program. It is designed to meet the needs of working families who need full-day child care and desire a summer camp experience. Children will discover friendship, independence, and confidence through art, music, sports, drama, and recreational activities. The staff and program facilitates a warm and secure environment for channeling children's energy and meeting their individual needs. Early Camp SAFARI is located at Valley View Elementary School. A light breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are provided. Children will need to bring a water bottle from home.
