DMing 101 - Part I & Part II
Have you ever wanted to sit behind the screen and lead your own tabletop adventures, but didn't know where to start? Or perhaps you’ve already begun your journey as a Dungeon Master and want to sharpen your craft?
Join us at Tower Games for a special two-part workshop led by Tony, our Events Manager and a veteran storyteller with over 30 years of experience in the Twin Cities RPG scene. Whether you are a total novice or a budding storyteller, this series breaks down the "magic" behind the screen into practical, easy-to-learn steps.
- Part I: The Foundations We’ll cover the basics of getting started: understanding your role, prep work that won't burn you out, and how to keep the story moving.
- Part II: Advanced Storytelling & Tips (Date/Time) Dive deeper into world-building, managing player dynamics, and professional "tricks of the trade" Tony has gathered from three decades of consulting and writing for the RPG community.
Come learn the art of the game from a local legend. No prior experience (or heavy rulebooks) required!
